Ireland lock Iain Henderson claims captain Rory Greatest”silenced a great deal of critics” in his side’s opening 27-3 World Cup triumph over Scotland.
Greatest, 37, played with the full 80 minutes and scored his side’s second attempt in an astonishing screen in Yokohama.
“It was course, I had been loving sitting on the bench watching Rory on the market,” said Henderson, who starred before being substituted after 56 minutes.
“I thought that he was absolutely incredible now.”

“There were questions about us externally,” added the Ireland skipper.
“We knew we had a lot more to give. I think we did not place enough stress on ourselves to be in the position we needed to be and to execute the plan.
“I think sometimes you will need to draw a small line in the sand.
“We were delighted with the two [warm-up] games against Wales and today.”
Ireland meet tournament hosts Japan, who began their effort on Friday with a bonus-point victory over Russia.
Where, if they top the band, they will likely face South Africa, Ireland would be place by A win in Shizuoka well in their way into a World Cup quarter-final.
